This is the year where we step into our identity! We have our new Logo design and Red as our theme colour, we mean business! Alexia Nadirah is of course the Founder and Festival Director but 2023 is the year the Alraqs Festival Team is formed and Maria Nicolaou steps in as an Associate Festival Director and Digital Media Manager.

Our International Guest Master teacher is the superstar Alla Kushnir originally from Ukraine but with a star studded career in Egypt. Our local Master teachers are talented Lucy Alhayati and our very own Alexia! Our venues also change, our Workshops take place at Potenzia Del' Arte, our Gala Show takes place at Melina Merkouri Theatre and our Competition at Dianellou and Theodotou Gymnasium.

2023 is also the year we began our Friday Night tradition with a Welcome Dinner/Party which took place at a famous taverna 'Zanettos' with guest and master teachers enjoying amazing Cypriot cuisine!

We loved every minute of it!
